Cat Commander

Cat is an actor, writer, and director who began her career as an improviser at the iO in Chicago in 2014.

 

She has performed in many of the Bard's plays, including Love's Labours Lost, A Winter's Tale and The Taming of the Shrew. She has toured two self-devised one woman shows to fringe festivals, and her one-act play, You Took The Stars, was performed in Perth and Melbourne in 2014. She directed two seasons of the comedy cooking show Community Kitchen for Channel 31 and is working as a director for the 2015 Melbourne Fringe Festival show I Don't Know Yet.

 

Cat improvises regularly with The Improv Conspiracy house team Bass Drum Kitten, plays with the all female group Play Like A Girl, and is a cast member of Infloresence, a brand new group formed for Melbourne Fringe 2015. Check out her website: catcommander.com.au
