Favourite Play: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Favourite Character: Beatrice, Much Ado About Nothing

 

Dana McMillan is a Melbourne-based performer and theatre maker. She trained her performance skills at VCA's Acting Studio program, movement with Teresa Blake, and voice with Suzanne Heywood. She is an Artistic Director of physical theatre company The DIG Collective, performing this year in 12x12x12; 12, twelve minute versions of Twelfth Night, directed by twelve different directors. Her appearances with The DIG Collective also include DiG! DIG does Cabaret and White Night Melbourne.

 

Her other performance credits include Memmie in Memmie le Blanc for Union House Theatre, Rosalind in As You Like It for Melbourne University Shakespeare Company, and Entwined for Kitchen Table Productions. Having improvised in physical performance and trod the boards in a Shakespearean play or two, she is loving the opportunity to indulge in these two loves with the wickedly funny and talented Soothplayers.
