Katherine Weaver is an improviser, actor, teacher, producer and director. She has been improvising with Impro Melbourne for over 10 years and is currently co-artistic director. She has performed in a number of seasons with Impro Melbourne in such shows as Theatresports™, Gorilla™, and Maestro™. Katherine has trained with many improvisation and acting teachers over the years and believes you should never stop learning.
Her love of performing is only matched by her love of teaching. She teaches regularly for Impro Melbourne and has also been honored to teach at improvisation festivals in Wurzburg (Germany), Wellington (New Zealand), Canberra, and Adelaide.
She is the creator and director of “Monster of the week” an improvised supernatural show, and “Sparks,” a show that starts from one word. She is also currently the producer of Die-NastyAU’s Soapathon – A 52 hour live improvised soap opera.
